The Makeup Blueprint Theory: - What Students Will Learn
Students will learn the foundational principles behind professional makeup application. This includes understanding skin types and skin tones, proper hygiene and sanitation, and how to safely prepare the skin for makeup. Students will explore face shapes, eye shapes, and features, and how makeup techniques are used to enhance natural structure through highlighting, contouring, and color placement.
The course also covers color theory, including how undertones work, how to match foundation correctly, and how to combine colors for different effects and occasions. Students will learn the purpose and correct use of makeup products and tools, as well as basic techniques for eyes, brows, complexion, cheeks, and lips.
By the end of the course, students will understand the theory behind makeup choices, allowing them to apply makeup thoughtfully, adapt looks for different people, and build a strong foundation for practical application and advanced techniques.
